The Pizza Man

Several years ago, we worked on a TV commercial for FMF, a flour milling company in Fiji. It was for a ready-to-mix Pizza flour. After coming up with the concept – a pizza cook-off, we decided to cast Peter as one of the stars… namely the well-experienced chef who was to create Pizza dough from scratch, while a suitably attractive woman used the FMF Pizza Mix.

Shot in two locations, with a polka in honor of our German star, the result was an amusing and popular ad. Below is a almost final cut – it’s pretty much the same, except for the TVC end titles.

Ever since its release, Peter became simply known as “Pizza Man” in Fiji, and whenever he visits the country, he’s bound to be recognised by absolute strangers who remember the ad.
